Acne Scar RemovalBest Acne Treatments

Acne Scar Removal is a big concern for those that have had either long term acne and also those that are still balancing their skin back to health.

The best way to reduce the amount of Acne Scar Removal you need to do is to say NO to squeezing spots. We know this is really hard, and occasionally you cannot resist the urge, but do yourself a big favour now. Also before you really consider Acne Scar removal give yourself a little bit of time as most scars will fade leaving no need for treatment.

There are dozens of methods of Acne Scar Removal and we will now discuss the main and most successful methods.

Acne Scar Removal Method One: Chemical Peel

Done in the doctors office chemical peels can come in a range of strengths from the mildest to the strongest. A good doctor should do a patch test on your skin, perhaps under your chin to test that your skin can take the product and that there are no allergies. Depending on the strength of the chemical peel your downtime may be very short or a few days. With this Acne Scar Removal technique you must be extra vigalent to stay out of the suns UV rays. Wear SPF 50 or more, AND a hat as your skin with with very suseptable to light damage.  Be very cautious when you select a doctor and ask to see photographs of before and after patients. Always look for personal recommendations before you let someone, no matter how professional, to do something to your face.

Acne Scar Removal Method Two: Laser resurfacing

For Laser Resurfacing you will need to head to a doctors office and once again do some real investigation of how experienced and good the dermatologist is. This can be quite a serious and dramatic treatment - hopefully for the best. The laser will remove the damaged top layer of the skin leaving a lower newer level showing. Laser resurfacing can be pretty painful but local anesthesia can be used to help resuce the pain. It can take more than a week for the skin to heal, but take advice from your doctor before you agree to treatment.

Acne Scar Removal Method Three: Dermabrasion

Dermabrasion is a little bit like polishing your skin to the max similarly to how a diamond is polished to make it sparkle. The top layer is brushed away to reveal the younger skin and hopefully the acne scars. Don't over do this treatment as skin in precious. It is better to do this treatment is stages that you feel comfortable with.

Acne Scar Removal Method Four: Fractional laser therapy

Rather than focusing on the top layer of skin, fractional laser therapy focuses on blitzing the lower levels of skin and encouraging the skin to heal itself and repair and renew more quickly. There are dozens of machines now that can offer the acne scar removal technique. Fraxel is one of the most popular ones. Make sure you head to a real doctor and not a beauty therapist. Also, do remember to insist on a patch skin test before undergoing a full face of treatment.
