Acne Medicine - DianetteSo, the jury is out on this one as to it's long term safety, but all I can tell you is that is worked for me. It takes around three months to get kicking but then most people are on their way to seriously improved skin. There are side effects on some people such as depression and weight gain, but I have not experienced them. For me it was the most significant acne treatment and for that reason alone I will recommend it. It is only available by prescription.
Acne Medicine - RoaccutineNow, this one is especially controversial. However, I know that on some people with serious acne it has been fantastic and cleared up their skin. The problem with this acne treatment is that it is very very strong and basically dries up your whole face and maybe even your body. The upper layer of your skin will peel off which will be unpleasant but underneath it should reveal a new fresh complexion that hopefully a dermatologist can maintain. I have heard stories of relapses but if you are really stuck then this acne medicine may be worth a shot. Make sure you know about all of the side effects especially for girls if you are thinking about (or could get) pregnant.
