Acne Products that you need…

There are a few basic acne products that you cannot do without.

Acne Products # 1
Salicylic Acid

Dalacin T Salicylic Acid can help to clean your skin and kill the nasty bacteria, all without overdrying. Salicylic Acid is one of the most effective and yet underrated acne products. Get it from your doctor or hunt in your pharmacy for commercial products containing it.

Acne Products # 2
Dalacin-T Gel

Dalacin-T is a calming antibiotic gel really help you in the war against bacteria. Apply Dalacin-T gel morning and night all over your face not just on affected areas to prevent the spread. Let me know what you think of Dalacin-T below!

Acne Products # 3
Clay Mask

Get a good clay mask, almost any brand will do. It should clear out your pores and make you feel less oily. Use this once a week and don't leave it on for too long. If you are really greasing over then you can use a clay mask on specific areas twice a week if it makes you feel better. I personally rate Anthony's (for men)'s clay mask for both boys and girls!

Acne Products # 4
Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil has been recommended as a great acne productby some of our readers for its antiseptic qualities. Myself, I have found tea tree oil a bit too strong, so of you have sensitive skin then just apply it on a small area first and see if it works for you.

Acne Products # 5
Concealer

Don't suffer any more than you need to. Find a good foundation and concealer. I suggest Lancome for foundation and MAC for concealers. You can wear makeup as long as you apply it in the cleanest way - fingers not sponges as they are heaven for bacteria. Also, you must clean your skin at night to make it as fresh as possible. Use a light crème cleanser and rinse with water.
Share your experience with any of these Acne Products and help others!

I went to a dermatologist today and he precribed Dalacin T and Locacid for me. He pointed out that I have around 20 small size acnes! and that it is not serious... anyway he appears to be optimistic and said my skin should clear in 1-2 weeks along with Azithromycin that I should take 500mg every alternate day. Wish me luck!

if you are looking at ways to help acne don't use acutane. You shouldn't use it because the side effects are severe. my sister almost died from it. it gave ulcerative colitis, and eventually she had colonoscopy, and it just got worse, and now her colon is removed and she has an ostomi. she also has bad vision and it only gets worse. So never take acutane

I used to have acne and some time i still get one here and there, but I really like using aveeno foam wash and Mario Badesco product and it zap away or pimples ( u can buy them at nordstroms). Oxy product is also good.
If you want permanent you have to see a dermatologist so u can get a prescription.

Just a word of caution on the "vodka toner". Vodka is basically alcohol, which dries out your skin and disinfects, so this is not exactly a new product. If you want that kind of toner, just go and buy one with alcohol as an ingredient. Also check out this article on toner: http://www.skincarestory.com/toning.html

Which Vodka do you use, and is it really that great? I have a choice of Finlandia, Grey Goose and Skyy... Please let me know, Thanks!
Oh and does it matter if they are citrus flavored or not?

I have such bad acne on my bottom when I sit down it hurts. I am afraid to wear white because when I sit they burst open and bleed, and ooze puss all over the place. It's so painful. I am going to try dalacin, and perhaps I will also try this "Vodka" toner remedy that Melba Toast dick Rickmilk suggests.
Thanks!

I tried Dalacin T-gel bit i think it's too mild, so now I am starting to use this new "Vodka" toner. Yup, I use vodka on a cotton pad after washing. So far so good!

I have found MAC products to be quite good myself to cover my spots. But, of course if it doesnt work for you then avoid. I also like Clinque stuff too.

if u have oily skin i dont recommend any M.A.C make-up it can clog ur pores and and give u acne if its lipstick, gloss,or eyeshadow than M.A.C is ok but only for the intended purposes of those product. i know this mainly becuase i have oily skin and some of my friends that have oily skin when using there powder, foundation, or blush ended up get some breakouts from it. its maily because M.A.C to me doesnt allow the skin to breath i mean ya it works well for what it was made for but the after affects just werent great.

for foundation, powder,or blush i recommend for oily skin or really anybody is CLINIQUE THERE PRODUCTS are 100% fragrance AND they are hypoallergenic and they have OIL-FREE PRODUCTS
