Adult Acne TreatmentBest Acne Treatments

Acne should stop at puberty! We tell you all about Adult Acne Treatment and how to beat acne...

Adult acne treatment is more commonly being requested than ever before. The good news is that people are less shy about asking for help. However, the bad news is that there has been a surge in people experiencing adult acne.

The exact reasons for this are unknown however, here are the common theories that I believe ring true:

1. Increased stress. Longer working hours, and an increase in the go getter culture.

2. Side affects of day to day drugs - have you considered everything that you take - it could be the key?

3. Over processed food such as microwavable and fast food.

Other reasons for adult acne are the hormonal imbalances involved in pregnancy and menopause. Also, people that work with masks for health and safety often develop a surprising bout of acne.

For full details on how to fight adult acne then check out out the Best Acne Treatment page. Also, for the lowdown on best drugs tried and tested personally by us then see the Acne Medicine page.

All the best! keep in touch...

I'm 17 and i have severe acne all the time, i dont remember a time between now and when i was 14 that i havent had a face full of pimples. I've gone through both types of clearisil, ive done 6 months of Proactive, ive gone through Dove's face cleaner, ive used various deep cleaning clay's that you let dry for 15 minutes, ive tried the hot water and towel thing to open blocked pores, ive tried using a face cloth instead of bare hands. Honestly im sick of it now. At any one point in time ill have about 5 - 10 pimples and honestly i cant count the amount of blind ones coming through.

I am 32 and I travel a lot. Even now I am in India on a business trip. I have suffered a lot from acne even from the age of 16... I had clinical depression bcs of this. My doc's prescribed a lot medicines but they managed to hold the acne back for some days but the damn thing kept coming back. I finally managed to get it under control using this site Adult Acne Treatments....I emailed the guy and he was kind enough to respond and give me personalised advice. I still have acne but it is just one or two on my body. My face is clear.... But still sometimes one or two keeps popping p, but guess I must be happy bcs I used to have over 30 at any given time on my face....

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your hardship and your acne problem. I am now 31 and have had acne since I was 14 also. Mine isn't as severe as what yours sounds but still extremely annoying and embarrassing all the same. I was just wondering if you have heard of SensiClear. It's a new product that is being endorsed by the Janice Dickenson Modelling agency. I have been using it for almost 2 weeks now and so far I have to say I am impressed. I have noticed a huge difference in my skin and my acne is almost gone. They have a 30 day free trial on at the moment so this might be something worth trying. The website is the product name www.sensiclear.com

Let me know how you get on.
