Best Acne Treatments Best Acne Treatments

We discuss the Best Acne Treatments and tell you what really works...

So, in our quest for the best acnetreatments wehavetried all the major players to really hit the damn spot! Here are our hot tips:

Best Acne Treatments - Tip #1

Clean your skin twice a day with mild soap free cleanser. Nothing too strong or perfumed. Dry with a clean towel - get a new one each day.

Best Acne Treatments - Tip #2

If you wear makeup remove it separately first with a light milky cleaner and cotton pads.

Best Acne Treatments - Tip #3

Only tone if you have too. Limit your products to avoid over exposure to chemicals and bad reactions so you can tailor make them into the best acne treatments for you.

Best Acne Treatments - Tip #4

Moisturise with a light cream, nothing too greasy. Even if you feel oily enough, don't skimp on this as your skin needs moisturisation even in this nasty state.

Best Acne Treatments - Tip #5

If you are applying makeup - this is also for guys that are using concealer (nothing to be ashamed of by the way) use only the cleanest of makeup brushes or even better, your fresh fingers to apply. Chuck out all old manky brushes and stick to cotton wool buds.  Don't wear makeup in the house so your skin can get as much air as possible but of course I understand that you need to cover up to face the world. I recommend Lancome foundations as they don't seem to clog the skin too much. A non comogenic powder, in  plain English, a non clogging one is better than a thicker one, so do the switch if you can.

Best Acne Treatments - Difficult Tips

The following tips are more difficult to follow but well worth it -

Don't touch your face EVER - only to clean your face when your fingers are brand spankingly clean.

Avoid sweating - all the doctors tell you to keep excersising frantically, but frankly it's bull***. Change to yoga or less heated sports as sweat is not your best friend.

Drink tonnes of water  -  also herbal teas. You need to help your body to pee all those nasty toxins out so get slurping.

Reduce dairy and wheat foods - this is tough but with many people it really works. I don't buy that theory that what you eat and drink doesn't affect acne. Of course it does. Anyone that is serious about their acne treatment will do anything to help themselves.

Stop smoking - all the best acne treatments in the world are not performing at their most powerful if you are sucking up fumes all day. Cut it out - and PS yes, it stinks. Anyone that has so little respect for their bodies and of those around them does not deserve to have good skin.

I used to have acne until I came across this treatment. http://remediesforpimples4u.com really helped me get my self confidence back. I used to hide from the rest of the world because I felt so shunned and unaccepted. These days, I can walk down the streets tall and proud because of my clear face and good complexion

What worked for me:
Showering with neutrogena acne treatment scrub and then using a stridex pad. You have to be constant and acne will disappear, these products really worked for me, nothing had worked before. I guess the pads are really strong and if you do this daily you will have normal, pimple-less back and chest!

have you tried roaccutane? i went on it for a couple of years and didn't have a spot (and i have sandpaper acne)! It does have some side affects but mine weren't bad- cracked lips mainly - but apparenly ca** depression? didn't happen to me - i just loved that i didn't have to wear makeup!! i have gone off it now because also want to give my body a couple of years to get it out of my system before i have kids (ca** birth defects). I also have some friends that have used it and also love it. Was also wondering where to find ClearPores in perth- anyone know? need a solution before i can go back on roaccutane.

Among many antioxidants, the most researched and best known for skincare and treating scars is Vitamin E.

This product has been recommended by professional doctors and pharmacists all around the world. Vitamin E is best in its natural state. The reason behind this is because Natural Vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol) has 36% MORE biological activity than the synthetic version, hence it works better at treating scars.

Go for serum or creams which shows very high concentration of natural Vitamin E as the ingredient. Make sure they are no chemical substitute which may cause unwanted side effects.

I have mild acne on the sides of my face (mostly blackheads with like two red pimples). I’ve been using benzoyl peroxide to treat it and now my face is dry and flaky. Is it okay to use a microdermabrasion cleanser on my skin? Do you think it will help the flakiness? Will it make my acne worse? Please Help?

Back acne is usually viewed as the same disease as facial acne since it develops in a similar manner and expresses itself in similar lesions. However, sebaceous glands on the back are larger and produce more oil than those on the face. These larger glands can produce more severe lesions such as nodules and cysts more frequently. The skin on the back is also much thicker than that on the face, sometimes making effective treatment more challenging.

As an individual, your age, your skin type, your gender and the type of acne you are suffering from, greatly impacts the results of the acne medication you use.
