CLINIQUE ACNE PRODUCTS – heavy health concern for fast-acting lotions
JOHN ALEXANDER L. NICOLAS
Clinique is best known for its skin care products and is providing solutions to deal with acne problems for minor and major breakouts.
Clinique’s major tagline for why it’s better than the rest is that the cosmetics are made by trained dermatologists and are ‘Allergy tested and 100 percent acne free’, a major concern for most cosmetics users.
Clinique offers many suggestions into why their product is better but reviews are varied by people because the effects are different. Here are a few of the products that claim to help in acne problems.
ACNE SOLUTIONS CLEAR SKIN SYSTEM STARTER KIT
They claim to give exact results within two weeks of ‘smoother and clearer skin…and leave the midday look behind’. To focus more on the pores that secrete the oily sebum that causes acne, it offers lotions and gels that cleanses, exfoliates and keeps the skin moist.
It claims to remove excess dead skin within a day and make the skin less oily within one week if you use twice a day. Within six weeks, ‘breakouts will be less-severe and less frequent’.
Though expect some breakouts before it clears out as it is removing toxins and users recommend using if the acne is serious, and not before or as a precaution or some irritation might happen. You may feel some dry or red skin in the beginning but it should be fine, but do not overdo it.
ACNE SOLUTIONS EMERGENCY GEL-LOTION
This is an added product referred to go with the starter kit that focuses heavily on pimples that keep appearing in the same place. It is also promoted to clear off blemishes by cleaning up clogged pores as well.
While useful, there are safety guidelines that Clinique itself gives, which includes one time use daily and with use with sunscreen. Additionally, dryness and peeling is expected and they recommend doctor’s counsel.
Be sure to check that your skin can handle this lotion because fast acting means it will be much more red and itchy skin if you are allergic to this type of cream. Reviews suggest even a small dab put on the pimple will clear up a pimple but it is not to be used like a daily face cream.
ACNE SPOT HEALING GEL
Sticking on the subject of skin irritation, Clinque also provides a gel that would deal with any skin redness or dryness made when using other Clinique products, particularly the starter kit or any other product that is used to remove blemishes.
The main promotion for this product is that it clears up any noticeable side effects from the Cliniqueproducts use for sensitive skin users which include redness or flaky skin peel. It heavily advises that no other drugs for acne be used without a doctor’s prescription or dryness will stay even when using the gel.
Reviews have noted the fast-acting solution but are curious into why it is sold in such a small container (last at least one to two weeks). The price is still affordable to most but reviews agree that Clinique wants to avoid customers overusing a strong product.
Clinique also offers facial foams and cleansers to deal with pre-acne conditions to remove small blackheads and pimples. Customer opinion is varied for each product which can be found under each product description to help new buyers.
